It always amazes me what you can see if you just look. I’ve been fascinated by the abstract shapes and colors Mother Nature provides at every turn. An ongoing project of mine is stumbling upon those abstracts and capturing them as an image. From Yellowstone to Antelope Canyon to Lake Michigan, I’ve found those abstracts if I just looked. On this mid-December trip to Clear Creek Metro Park, I pulled off the road that passed Written Rock, a rock outcropping used by Native Americans in 1100 A.D. to communicate their stories. As I walked along the wall, colors and shapes began to emerge. I just had to capture the images and include them in my portfolio.
