A trip to Magee Marsh on the shores of Lake Erie during spring migration of songbirds is always special. Magee Marsh is a stopover point for the long journey to breeding grounds in northern U.S. and Canada.
Some birds, such as this beautiful Prothonotary Warbler, choose to stay and start a family in this protected area. A fallen log was the perfect site for this family.
