The geyser pools, fumaroles, mud pots and other thermal wonders of Yellowstone are treasure troves of abstract shapes, colors, textures and patterns. Splashes of paint by an artist cannot match the natural wonders. Adding to the abstract are leaves that have fallen into the pools.
