Greenlawn Cemetery is a birding hotspot in central Ohio. Through the grapevine I heard that the great horned owl had returned to her usual nesting site, an immense oak with a large cavity fit for a nest. The owlets had hatched a few weeks earlier and were now making their debut. For this image, the owlet was curious about what I was doing. Just admiring.
