Snow and cold temperatures ushered in 2013. I got a somewhat early start on this first day of the year and decided to head to Blendon Woods to get some fresh air and see what the creatures, both human and animal, were doing. The chickadees, titmice and nuthatches were all busy . . . more so than their human counterparts.
